I seen a report in motor trend about that subaru baja and they filled it with bricks and the front wheels were lifting off the ground

I don't think it is a very good idea

mini trucks is enough

Pointless or not, it will be the next automotive trend.

Actually it really makes sense. I had a truck. I liked being able to haul bricks and dirt, that was great, but the most I usually carried was a couple of mountain bikes or some boxes or something. I wanted a sportscar that could handle great too. Not too many choices for anew car like that. I could outfit a truck to handle well...but it'd never behave like a good handling car. There are no new car choices for that kind of versatility.

Enter the the Ute. A car (not a truck) that can handle well and still perform some lite small truck duty. If you want to haul bricks get a real truck, if you want to haul ass get a Ute, right? (hmmm...good ad campaign)

I think that people would buy 'em up like crazy. What's old is new again, elcaminos are going to make a come back. Mark my words, the same people that say they are ugly today will be lining up to buy 'em tomorrow.
