Yep.. the propety value in Bradenton is horrible because of the trailer parks and ghettos throughout..
If you stay on SR64 or north, you can get a great house with good property values and beautiful homes.. anything south of that is GHETTO.. 80% of the communities in Bradenton are trailer park ONLY, and 65% of the population can't speak English. Avoid 9th Street south of Oneco, and basically anything between Oneco south to University Pkwy in Sarasota.
If you move to Sarasota, that's a different story. Sarasota is gorgeous.. beautiful houses, etc.
Just try and avoid Bradenton. You'll know what I'm talking about once you move there.

I live in B-town too, and I hate it (lived here all 20 years of my life
...) I go to St. Pete/Tampa almost evey weekend because there is absolutly nothing to do around here.
Oh, and Palmetto is pretty ghetto too.
