Okay I've seen a thick gauge wire going from battery negative to a grounding plate. There are also four or five other wires coming from that plate.
One to the starter cause that draws a lot of power on starting (battery may drop down to 9V from 12)
One to the alternator so that it gets more power than a stock puny ass wire.
One to the block (don't know why)
One to the trans (don;t know why on this one either)
Now the first two I can understand. They help aid with the drawing of power, etc. The last two however, I'm having a little trouble understanding.
Now I don't care if any dyno proven power is made or raw power unleashed, I just want to have a little better current flowing through the system. If that's okay.
So all I seek is where the most common points are and maybe why they would be good points. Not where the most power comes from or any of that shit.
This is along the same lines as if you put the blue headlights in that it's helpful to reground the light plug so it has less chance of blowing up....
