Who ever says start out on a Hayabusa is a MORON! Any 600 would be a descent bike to start learning on, but my number one starting bike for people to learn on is still the SV 650. You dont have all that plastic to worry about "When" you drop it. It's a light and very forgiving bike. The GSXR 600 is a good bike if you want a fat, ugly, slow, handling bike.
