I agree...and I totally respect Taylors and Mattbacks view of this particular choice of motor...mainly because they have experience with the swap. But I have also read that by adding a decent suspension (which most would do anyhows)that the way the motor sits and looks or whatnot isnt a factor...as far as handling, I would agree with you as well Venom...but only because in theory, if the 100lbs was the biggest difference, I would also relocate the battery to the rear(for weight and room reasons)and I planned to added a CF hood with my setup anyhow(holy run on sentence batman) But why does it handle like shit...because of soley the weight...or because of using a stock suspension?. I do plan to keep my a/c which I know would make a huge difference as far as weight reduction to make up for the in-balance(sp). I also do not want a drift car, mainly a street driven drag car. There is a growign support for RB's as there was a while ago when nobody did the SR swap...know its the hottest thing since sliced bread and there's parts/support everywhere you look. As far as the replacement parts go Taylor, I would have to totally agree with you on that one..but on the same note, more places are starting to carry factory oem parts such as Phase2, After-Dark Tuning, and I've even read on NICO and Fresh Alloy, that soon the US dealers will be carring factory Nismo parts....but when, how much, and for what models I do not know. I would however try my best to replace all of the nessacary parts before the swap, as you should do with most imported motors, so I wouldnt have the majority of common problems associated with maintaing such a motor...IF I decided to go that route. Thanks everyone so far for their input, and keep um coming..I think this thread could help answer alot of questions for people.
