SR Swap in a toyota?

As far as Mercedes vs. all others.

Mercedes are very ahead of the time as far as technology goes. Their cheaper in Germany because their closer to the plant so no shipping charges are added, therefore Mercedes is not as much of a delicacy. In Japan things like the supra, rx7, silvia are all fairly cheap. In America, well Ford and Chevy are still expensive.

As far as the customer service thing, alot of it has to do with the new technology that is constantly being brought up. Acura has perfected what it has, Mercedes is always trying new things. Along with that the high price and rarity of mercedes in the US makes it easier for them to charge high prices to fix. The constantly changing designs makes it harder for anybody but a Mercedes technician to do many things without prior automotive knowledge. Above all this, the people who usually buy mercedes are rich people, who doesn't bitch about what they don't know more than rich people. I'm not talking about like 200,000 dollar a year rich, I'm talking about millions. They don't give a shit about their cars so of course their gonna complain, they have the money to do it without the dealership getting mad back.

As far as TurboCYA, yes mercedes are wonderful cars but you need to step off the pedestal for a second man. Every car has different aspects, how many people do you see drifting mercedes? Manual Transmission is hard to come by in the mercedes which is a downside by far for every Mercedes owner who wishes to race more than quarter mile. They do break down a lot but if you have a good amount of knowledge about them its usually easily fixable. Personally for German excellence I'd go Porsche, but of course not everyone can afford to work on an old porsche or buy a new one.

Not trying to start shit just trying to give a view from both sides.

Peace.
