Ditch the stock pistons, and I'd recommend sleeving if you want to make big power. Stock CRV sleeves are weak and I've witnessed them crack under n/a use, tuned or not. They just can't handle the cylinder pressure. If you're going to sleeve a motor, you can go with an LS and save a lot of money, and end up with the same. Since you are sleeving, you can push the bore way out, to 85 or even 86 mm, giving you a solid 2.1 liter motor. I always recommend the use of forged internals for high power applications. I could go on and on and on, but if you are wanting to build something, give us a call I can set you out a build to easily obtain anywhere from 180whp to 230+++
I was wanting of course to go with a FI system. Would you recommend just going with an LS and bore it ? Its just about the same as boring a GSR. I just wanted to have the gay ricer B20 stamp on the block. Is this a good block to use as a base or would you reccomend smaller B series and sleeve and bore them ? I wanted to start with all stock components and see howmuch i couold get and then start a good solid build up. I see what your sayin about boring the B20 get a nice big liter engine.
