Last night at trackday, my car was just falling over on the big end of the track. On my last pass, I looked down at the airfuel guage and it was pegged lean as I went through the traps. There was no pinging, popping, nothing, the car just nosed over and had a very noticable loss in power. I have a 255 in tank pump, aeromotive regulator, but stock lines, rails, injectors, etc. I have a hypertech programmer, 160 stat, and the rest of the motor is bone stock. The nitrous kit is a wet kit, jetted at 175, so the injector size shouldn't be too much of a factor. Just wondering if it sounds like a fuel, or computer related issue? It seems to me like the fuel pump isn't keeping up since the car runs great through 1st and 2nd, then leans out half way through 3rd. Does anybody know how much horsepower a 255 in tank with stock lines can support? I was considering a stand alone fuel system for the nitrous kit, but I don't want to do it and find out that's not the problem. The only thing that's throwing me is that it never detonates, pops, or anything else one would think it would do with a 175 shot, and no fuel, it just loses power. That's why I was wondering about the computer. On my last pass, I bumped the fuel pressure up 5 lbs., but it didn't change a thing. HELP!!
