last car i had with vacuum lines on the carb, one line would always collapse, and the car would run terribly. i kept using the factory spec line, and it was just too weak. i used a hose with a thicker wall, and it never collapsed again.

i miss having a carb. these computerized cars are a pain in the ass to tune. nothing beats getting under the hood with a can of gumout and a screwdriver and tuning the car. my next car will definitely be a classic.
