yea Loren, its an honest mistake. just wanted to be on the same page.

the gtu was born in 88, as an S4. it was everything the 10AE T2 was minus the turbo and extra weight of a turbocharging system making it more nimble and a better all around. Car and Driver even dubbed the 88 GTU the real 'Anniversary Edition RX7' as it actually performed better than the 10AE. the 10AE was just laden w/ every option, extra fluff and extra heft.

in 89, the GTU name became the base model, but the GTUs was a base model NA w/ TurboII stuffs. the 2nd lightest FC produced, after the 86-87 Sport models and the most rarest FC w/ ~1100 total units, but only 1000 admittedly produced units for 1989. anyways, enough hijacking....

i dont think ill have the bank roll for club racing. i just need to find a class to run my stock-ish FC in. are there any Solo classes that limit engine displacement?
