What did you use to lubricate the rod bolts? Also, are you sure you used the correct torque specs? Not to mention, the correct size bearings, and wether or not you plastigauged them, to make sure.
Once, I used engine assembly grease, instead of oil to lubricate the rod bolts, and using the correct torque specs, it somehow over tightened, and in turn damaged some of the bearings, so I had to replace some of them, again. The crank should spin freely with your hand, when installed in the block by itself.
