Okay - I was a tad sarcastic in my response but I wasn't being an asshole. If you can't handle sarcasm or get your panties in a bunch when someone disputes what you say - you probably shouldn't visit this site. Its just annoying that so many people have a problem with the plugs getting blown out and you say its not a problem at all. Its not just happening on LIghtning motors, but 5.4 n/a's as well and several of the L's that have had it happen have zero mods.
I don't claim to know it all and really don't give 2 shits about who tampablack99 is....but I know this is a problem on these motors regardless of what anyone says. Its also annoying when you dismiss people's posts by saying you know someone who knows this or that....then they come on and post and don't even really explain who/why/what they are or why they know what they know and post something most of us already know and could easily find out with a google search.
Your response sounded like you accused everyone here of not "knowing what's up".
Again, not trying to flame a war here - just posting why I said what I said. Looking at this objectively, I do agree that the 6lb lower is probably too much. Running too much boost on the Eaton unported will not be effective and cause it to heat soak.
Now let's get back on topic and help this guy with his truck.
