i think they fixed the problem in 02. From what Rich D told me, the problem is caused by the lack of threads for the plugs in the heads. Over time they back out and eventually launch threw the head due to compression force. in 02 they added more threads and the problem has been solved, aparently.

Id still put some NGK's in there if your gonna install a pulley.
