just out of curiosity... how many people on this site actually have any drifting skill/know-how/whatever? i know it's been discussed before, but it seems like every third person on this site has "drifter" or "sideways" or "dori" or "i take corners at 50 at full cornersteer while the entire upper half of my body is hanging out my window" somewhere in their name/title/signature. i personally have no delusions that i will ever be any kind of drifter. i must say that the appeal of burning through a set of rear tires for a couple hours of sliding around a parking lot somewhere with 2 or 3 other people always escaped me... and i've never cared how cool i looked while going around a course (something about the clock that makes me want to drive fast rather than stylishly) but hey, to each his own. you guys have your fun with it. i'll continue to champion the no drifts cause.
I don't think they do it for the "glory" or to look cool. They do it to learn, gain skill, and have a SHITLOAD of fun!!! That's why I'm learning/going to learn.
