Originally supplied as a demonstration vehicle for a dealership in Cros de Cagne, France, the A110 would later participate in various amateur rally events, including the Monte Carlo Junior and the Tour Ile de Beauté, the support race for the Tour de Corse.
Following an accident during the 1971 Coupe des Alpes, the Alpine would pass through the care of several French custodians before being acquired by its most recent owner, who would restore the car to its current condition.
