This years' New Mexico State Fair runs from September 10 - 20!

Meanwhile —
This year the NMSF is focusing 100% on Rt 66 and the 100 year anniversary.
We are seeking something for one of our entertainment venues - i.e. a camper or small
trailer or even an old van that would have one side or end that can swing open to cram a band in.
The venue will be called "Jam in the Van"
The idea is not only music but to completely entertain folks on Main Street — if you know of
a source or suggestion please let me know.

- Description of Car Event: The car show will feature some of the top car clubs in New Mexico and will have a variety of cars on display for everyone to enjoy. The event will also include a raffle, an auction, music, activities for all ages and music. Cars will be judged in different categories and guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite vehicle on display for the People’s Choice Best in Show award. Tickets are $5 for adults and children 10-years-old and under are free.
Get ready for an exhilarating car show as we join forces with automobile car clubs and enthusiasts from across New Mexico! Together, we’re rallying to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Services of New Mexico’s no-cost programs supporting cancer patients, caregivers, and families.
The day will be packed with fun activities: from a raffle auction with fabulous items, to live music, food trucks, and, of course, an impressive lineup of stunning cars! Each vehicle will compete across various categories, with our audience casting their votes for the ultimate prize: “People’s Choice – Best in Show.”
With the generous backing of our local business community, individual donors, and event proceeds, our ambitious target is to raise $50,000!
