If the rules don't say it has to be weighed AFTER a race, it was legal when they weighed it before the race.
and that is not breaking any rules!
If gas tank size is legal before a race and the gas is not checked AFTER the race, it was legal when it was checked.
Taking yourself out of the race to let a team mate place higher is the same as agreeing on when to pit to let a team mate place higher.
There is nothing that says that is illegal.
If NASCAR doesn't measure the shape of the car body, it is not illegal to race a warped car.
If the rules are not specifically written, the things that are not written are not illegal.
