"The Big Wheel" bar scenes were filmed at my families night club here in Charleston, SC. It was "The Flying Dutchman Club" and was in operation from 1968 through 1994. The club had a country side and a rock side, the rock side was a good bit larger than the country side, and hosted many national artists at the time, some of which were later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
