Many of you have seen the Ford vs Ferrari movie that focuses on Ken Miles and that iconic blue/orange Ford GT40 at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. You see those fluorescent fenders on his car along with random flourescent markings on the other Ford GT40's of the Holman Moody team. Those were not there just to look cool. They served a practical purpose.
