The Black Out Charger is in essence Americas RA40 Lotus Carlton, a car that was uncatchable for its era and getting within 100ft of it was because the driver let you. Both were built on very common saloons of their time, one modified by Lotus Engineering to be the worlds fastest saloon and one most likely modified in his or her’s home garage to evade the authorities for shits and giggles.
While the RA40 Carlton’s legendary existence came to an end in 1994, the Black Out Charger is still alive and there’s no telling if the next Black Charger with a loud exhaust you see is just an average mopar enthusiast or the infamous blackout charger.
