I dont know about US speedway cars but cages here in Oz at times exceed road race cages. BUT Iron Junkie drag cars have different rules to road racing and speedway is different again. From what I have seen of Lemons cars they would not pass on speedway and some road race cages ar very basic,, even at the upper levels. Unsafe? No Not Great. Yes. And I have raced classic open wheel speedway cars, have driven other peoples sedans where there is a LOT of pipe but not stupid shoulder high intrusion bars with about 3 bends to get there. Just a proper Nascar style cage [yeah they are different again.] With all tubes welded too tubing welded to the floor. Drag racing has those stuped under floor mounted cages plus 'funny car' cages that on a sedan is just plain stupid. A head/ shoulder support seat is better and far lighter. Yet these cars have the doors fly off in a minor shunt and have 20 mph brakes on 200mph cars. My FIA level cage in my road race sedan it seems is not good enough for lemons. The cage in a similar Ford for speedway has far more pipes. Maybe Lemons should go visit commonsense
