The star of this film is Malta. I was just there last week, and let me say that island country is proud of every film ever made there, including this one. They have a sign at the Upper Baraka Gardens that shows all the films shot there and some of the locations. It’s hilarious that they did a car chase in Mdina since it's such a tiny walled-city with hardly any roads!
