I thank everyone for coming out today. There were choices of other car shows you could have gone to,
but the nicest group of people were here today at Keystone.
Wearing a Halloween costume of any kind got you an extra ticket in the 50/50 for the costume if you bought
one or more $1 Red tickets.
We guaranteed $25 but paid $38+. Some costumes were Ford Racing, Napa Auto Parts,
US Army Helicopter Pilot, Chevrolet Racing, Elwood Blues Brother...although John Belushi was not with us,
John Gruden of Tampa Bay Bucs had a very well worn "Chuckie" T-shirt from Bucs first trip to the Super Bowl
and also a perfectly preserved Vintage Bucs Hat. There was also a father-son team wearing their Bucs jerseys
and John Steed/Patrick Mcnee from Avengers British TV. Emma Peel was missing.
Keystone Motor Club founders Sam and Carol Prentice sat on the steps at Yellow Bird.
Thank you to all who walked over to say hello.....Sam and Carol started in 2012 what now has 247 members on facebook.
I saw Bob Masters and Bob Carter with a tailgate full of pumpkins about halfway
down the parking lot. Bob Masters donated a pumpkin to the door prizes. Bob Carter under the white Cowboy hat,
won the large 24" X 18" collectible painting of Hot Rods at the diner By Bruce Kaiser, which was framed and originally a puzzle.
We have 4 more special edition Hot Rod Classics from Route 66, that will be door prizes for the next four 3rd Saturday car shows
Best of show went to Bob Masters. Nice guy that he is, after Bob accepted his trophy
for the Herb and Carol Wagner Memorial Car Show, he gave it away to a first timer who had not yet won a trophy
at all. That sometimes happens when you own plenty of cars and plenty of trophys. Thanks Bob.
Wayne Ries Realty donated or should I say.... Dough-nuted a dozen doughnuts. ...lol... Keith Mevorah substituted for
his dad Al Mevorah and delivered 4 carafes of coffee. Connor Boggs helped with 50/50 ticket sales. We paid $40+ to the winner.
Thanks to Bob Mantler and Lulu Mae Mcarty for your contribution. Thanks to Marty Higbee of CHRA for your contribution

You are invited to a FREE Hot Dog Bash thanks to Tampa Knights Car Club, At Phillippe Park, Clearwater, March 17 2024 from 11AM to 1PM. Write it down. There's a lot of good people in that club. Call 813-924-1948 to get the Pavilion Number. Flyers are already being passed out for the event. It's a good idea to arrive early to get a good parking space. There will be plenty of drawings, door prizes, 50/50 and friendly car folks. No entry fee.

It has been suggested that if a person has a nice car with nice engine and really loud pipes, that it will courteously help everyone at KEYSTONE's meeting to be heard...... if you warm it up and exit either before or after the 11AM meeting
instead of during the drawings and presentations. Make some friends and help us out, instead of drown us out.Thanks.
Have a great day!
