A wonderful (and true) story which only goes to show that the APPROACH to teaching is far more important than the actual subjects being taught, because children need to be shown their own abilities through their self-respect and self-discipline without being forced. Children need their teachers AND their parents to guide them towards achieving what they initially conceive to be impossible, and learning to explore what their own minds are capable of. Yes, we can sometimes learn by our own mistakes, but we can also learn by others' mistakes, too. I like how the teacher said, "I teach you, and you teach me"...
