TAKE A DRIVE When it gets too hot and humid to attend a car show, why not get your car friends together and take a road trip. It doesn't have to be long, maybe a breakfast and lunch stop while driving through the rural areas of Florida. Try to hit several BBQ joints or donut shops. I've known some to do a sunrise on the east coast, lunch in the middle, and sunset on the west coast. There are short drives such as the Ormond Beach Loop, a drive through the Ocala National Forest, or up thought the big bend area of Florida's west coast. Stop and see the sights, just like a tourist would. If your classic is equipped with air conditioning then go out and explore our fine sunshine state. We are the number one tourist state for a reason.
