My 1994 accord coupe hasn't run for a few years. IIRC the tranny hesitated a second or two on the second to third shift. So maybe it's time to upgrade rather than repair. Who knows how to do a manual swap, and what's a fair price for it? It's not running at a downtown Clearwater shop.
The parts expense to convert are expensive. Labor is costly. It won't be just a bolt-on.
No one does the conversion enough these days to do it efficiently and reasonably priced.
Can't find anything in the junk yards either....and when you do they will give you another one they say.....(which they won't have one)
and you won't know it's bad until you burn hours installing it....and then remove it to take it back to them.
If you have a manual tans installed, you won't be able to find anyone in town that will fix it
or knows how to fix it, or will even guarantee their work when it goes bad.
You are better off to buy an auto trans through an autoparts store, that has already been rebuilt, with a warranty
.............but you should do what pleases you.
And let us know your story AFTER you try the swap....
