Memories.....light the corners of my mind
Misty water colored memories.....of the way we were....
Tattered pictures...... of the smiles we left behind....
Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were....
Was life so simple then...or has time rewritten every line......
If we had a chance to do it all again....would we...could we......
Memories... may be beautiful and yet..............,
what's too painful to remember, we simply choose to forget.....
So it's the laughter......that we will remember......whenever we remember....

Morning sunshine! This week, was the Route 66 Vanner's drive-in car club. Guess which one was my van? It was really fun driving in a convoy!I'm getting used to the weather here. It's cold mountain air in the early morning, but once the sun comes out, it warms up quickly and by mid-morning, we all shed our sweaters like it is summer. I think I am going to like it here. Still cleaning and sorting things like Grandma Greeno's wedding certificate, Berta's painting of Dad in the model T, and my wash board collection that we used in skits and one-act plays in Tampa. What memories!
Other than that, I am doing great. No health problems as I run around with the kids. Babies are wonderful! Until they fill their pants, and then we return them to the parents. lol Love it here.-Gen
