Thanks for Rock and Roll music and the song I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy our cars are bringing
Thanks for Yellow Bird Studios and the place we're meeting
Thanks for really great people and the excellent chili we're eating......

After the JAN 21 KMC car show at Yellow Bird Studios....16921 Gunn Hwy 33556....
While I could not be one of the chili judges, My biggest mistake was not getting my empty containers onto the table before you folks escaped.
I will get better at this.

Congratulations to the Chili Contest winners! It was the Best Chili Cook Off ever!
Top 3 places were separated by only 5 points.
The Red Sombrero and the Red Whistle goes to Returning Chili Champion Mechiel Kalbach with 97 points. All winners got their choice of trophy and the coveted Chili Pepper Necklace. The part you may have missed is that her trophy choice had flames at the base and a fireman figure on top. The part you may not have known is that Husband Kurt used to be a fireman. An excellent choice in more ways than one!
Keith Mevorah had 96 points. Coming March 3, 4, 5, 2023 will be the Cigar City Flatheads Winterfest Tour event and is co-hosted by Keith Mevorah's Tampa Drifters car club. A driving tour with food stops sounds like a fun event to me! Get details from
pmevorah@gmail.com....
Previous Best Of Show winner, Brenda Shallow had 92 points for 3rd Place Chili.
4th place went to Charles Mcnabb...who delivered his chili entry in a Kia Stinger
5th was Bob Mantler who also made Hot Rods and Hot Chili signs for us.
6th was Porsche drivin' Frank Salerno.
All winners got their choice of trophy and the coveted Chili Pepper Necklace.
Frank, I still owe you your choice of trophy..

What a coincidence that when Keystone Motor Club starts talking about a Chili Cook Off,
I get a call from the Keystone Civic Association which will be having a Spring Festival at Keystone Park, 17928 Gunn Hwy 33556, on April Fools Day Saturday April 1........... along with...surprise.....a Chili Cook Off! .........Mercy Sakes!
And I am asked if Keystone Motor Club will do a display and car show
like last time. So...since I know in advance, you now know in advance.
If you would like to join me as part of the KMC display, I am making the offer.
We will use the paved parking lot, North entrance... near the building, with our KMC tents just South of that parking lot, just like we did back on NOV 12 2022.

By the time you read this Dan and Gail Holsen will have posted bunches of our smiling faces
on Facebooks "Keystone Motor Car Club Members" page. You can join 180+ friends there.
