You are clearly a right-wing extreme nut case.”...aren't we all...
I get a lot of reader feedback…
While I can’t read them all, I do try and read a lot of them.
And, a fellow named Wayne, sent me an email to shatter my sensitive feelings.
Here’s what Wayne said…
“Always look forward to a good laugh in the morning and you never disappoint. You are clearly a right-wing extreme nut case.”
First, how did Wayne become a reader?
I try to repel liberals, people who don’t value freedom and self-reliance, and those who don’t believe in preparedness.
Second, Wayne will be disappointed to know that I’m not changing my ways.
I don’t care what other people call me as long as I’m doing what I believe in and what I know is right.
In fact, here’s a (sad) example I like to use and it seems to be the only way to get people like Wayne to change their tone.
I’ve shared this story before, but it’s worth repeating.
There was a woman who told me she hated me and thought I was the devil for teaching people how to shoot guns.
So, I asked her why she was at one of my gun courses then.
She said that she lived alone.
Someone had broken into her house and raped her and the rapist was long gone by the time police arrived.
She realized, as a single woman, a gun was the best way to protect herself in her home.
In other words…
The Wayne’s of the world will call me a right-wing nut job, until they face a crisis and then they’ll come running.
Unfortunately, it always happens and it happened in overdrive when the pandemic hit.
Some people are a little slow and it takes a “kick in the head” to help them realize the importance of personal responsibility and preparedness.
I’m glad I’m not a Wayne and you should be too.
The Wayne’s of the world will be waiting in long bread lines for handouts.
You and I will not.
And, just in case Wayne is reading this, Wayne don’t buy this, it’s only for self-reliant Americans.
Stay safe,
