I’m so proud of my younger sister, Molly. She’s worked so hard over the last 5 years to responsibly pay off her $50k in student loans. I’ve seen her make big sacrifices like living at home, being frugal with spending, and starting a side gig of reselling clothes from thrift stores.
After years of diligent payments, my sister is recently debt free! But after what happened this week, she’s extremely livid.
On Wednesday, the Biden Administration announced an unfair plan to make working class Americans pay off billions for people who agreed to student loans. Not only will this fail to fix the real problem of expensive education, it’s also going to make inflation worse than it already is.
My colleagues at The Heritage Foundation can’t stand to see things like this that harm regular Americans like you. As soon as the policy was announced, we were all over social media pointing out the flaws.
If you don’t already follow Heritage on platforms like Facebook, it’s a good way to see interesting commentary on breaking news. Here’s one of our videos of Heritage President Dr. Roberts on Fox News talking about anti-American faculty who are the only ones celebrating student loan forgiveness:

My sister is just one of many who’s being punished by this misguided policy. Do you know anyone else who worked hard to pay off their loans only to be spited this week? What do you and they think of this situation? I’m curious to hear what they’re going through. I’m sure my sister and I can empathize.
Best,
