Robert Gee is one of the most legendary race car fabricators in NASCAR history. Anyone who was anybody during the golden years of stock car racing in the 70s-80's probably has a story that took place in this little garage near Charlotte Motor Speedway. Robert was instrumental in the early days of Darrell Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt in addition to being Dale Jr's grandfather.

The current tenant of the building now owned by Ken Schrader was able to find some remnants of Roberts history! We also call Darrell and get some fascinating backstory on his time spent at this location!
