APRIL
ARE YOU EQUIPPED? How often do you rush out of the house on your way to a show and think only about whether you have enough gas to make it there? That is me. I want to get that shade spot or a place on the end of an aisle or get in before the show reaches capacity. In my haste, I may forget that second chair for Steve (poor guy) or the chamois that I didn't need because rain was not in the forecast (it's Florida...). As best as I try, I have a crate with all the necessary items I may need, if only I remember to place it in the trunk of the car that I'm driving (I have several). A crate in each would be nice. Here is a list of items you may want to consider in your crate:
- The Absorber (best chamois ever)
- Cleaners & clean towels (for after the rain, road dust & bird dodo)
- Compact umbrella (for me) & disposable poncho (for him)
- Chairs (for each person in the car)
- Can koozies (also for each person in the car)
- Fire extinguisher (you never know)
- Hand fan for those women over 50
- Sunscreen for those men who don't think they'll burn
- Blue towels
- Small flashlight
- Small hairbrush & hair tie (I want to look good after being wind blown)
- Basic tools in a small box
- Compact charger that jump starts a car plus charges the phone batteries
Also, don't forget to put air in that spare tire that you think you may never use (been there before).
Have fun and see you at the shows!
Thank you for keeping FCS the #1 car show resource in Florida.
