On this day in 1940 {September 18th} "You Can't Go Home Again" by Thomas Wolfe was published... Twenty five years later on November 6th, 1965 "I Can Never Go Home Anymore" by the Shangri-Las entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #6 and spent 11 weeks on the Top 100... Sadly, two of the four original members have passed away; Mary Ann Ganser {1948 - 1970} and Marge Ganser {1948 - 1996}; they were identical twins... May they both R.I.P. along with Mr. Wolfe {1900 - 1938}
