I’ve always wondered why women stay with men that don’t appreciate and genuinely love them. In the past it may have been for security but times are changing and women still allow themselves to be mistreated. And, how about that leech of a son; someone, perhaps mum, continues to enable him. Life isn’t perfect for any of us and aging clarifies how we’ve lived. So many layers in this story.
