Lol and you was in Cleveland. My partner here in Akron is one of the Corvette people you might of met. But in reality he more like a picky buyer. Only because he now knows what he wants and only wants it. He's been a Corvette nut since we was kids. The first one we got was a 74 after seeing it at a party. It came with a good story. Then he started getting thr 80 anniversary ones.
The best was he was explaining to his girlfriend about it. She goes and says "It's got a 350 in it, Oh Dave it's just a old Chevy. lol. But he has bought and sold a lot of them in our 33 years in the auto industry. He even had a Crimson red Convertible like yours but a white top. I think he put the white top on. Now has a 2011 Gran Sport Convertible.
66 Convertible and has spent 5 years now looking to get a 2016 cause it the last year that chevy is using the blue on it. Sorry can't remember the name of blue. Calling all over the US. Your story is so relatable to us i found it humorous
