What we did on OCT 16 2021Keystone Motor Club...It was the most Fun Car Show ever!
It was the most Fun Car Show ever!
- We are being overwhelmed with all the cars coming in. It was the first time we had to park cars on the grass.
We need a bigger parking lot.
I'm willing to listen to suggestions, if attendees will email me. Were you there?

- First, a confession:
Two of the boxed door prizes had 1/4 inch of dust from 50 years of storage.
Dust had been knocked off the box outside. But the inside was not cleaned up at all. You might look up the value of those dusty items before you toss them out.
The boxed items were only door prizes, along with Car Wash Soap,
a 5 gallon Car Wash Bucket, Tire Shine, and a round tire gauge.
It was winners choice as to what you won when we drew your name.
A Collectible Large, Tall, One-of-a-kind Beige Ceramic Chalice-styled "Cup" with a large poinsettia carved opening into the side for the included candle to shine through includes a large oval-shaped table cloth which goes with the ceramic cup, and can be claimed by the winner if you email me. I have to wash the table cloth before you can have it.
It's at least 50 years old, and has to be washed by hand. Please be careful with the cup, I was unable to look up the value on the internet. You may have the only unbroken one still in existence.
Except for the door prize collectibles,
We paid out $77 to the winner for the 50/50 raffle. Things were pretty hectic.
Thank you to Dick Peterson for operating the 50/50.
The brand new, original box, original plastic bag, unassembled Tony Stewart collectible Shop Light/Desk Light...the last one that's not in a museum was the grand prize, and may be worth more than the $77 in the 50/50. It's not listed on the internet that I could find.
There were two winners for Best of Show in the Herb and Carol Wagner Memorial Car Show:
Thomas Leo's '68 Chevy 210 won Best of Show and a 2 foot trophy.
Ray Crowley's '27 Ford Roadster won Best of show and a 2 foot trophy.
Keystone Founders Sam and Carol Prentice stopped by briefly.
I need to meet with Sam soon. We are being overwhelmed with all the cars coming in. It was the first time we had to park cars on the grass.
We need a bigger parking lot.
I'm willing to listen to suggestions, if attendees will email me. Were you there?
I want to thank Dick, Don, Vic and John, who helped with tent assembly, and thank you also to Deb Rebuck, Danni Wells, and Dick Peterson who helped with disassembly and packing up when it was time to leave. Thanks also to Gen for the use of the pickup truck and the preparation help prior to the Car Show.
Dan and Gail Holsen were both taking a ton of pictures and the best ones are posted: on Keystones Members Group page..
