A group of GM engineers built a (7 years old '64) high tech Trans Am race car, and kicked the butts of the latest 1971 brand new model factory Trans Am race cars.

A great story!
I wonder where the car is now.

John Hildebrand’s beautifully restored ’64 Pontiac GTO (driven by Bob Tullius to second place in the ’71 Trans-Am season opener at Lime Rock) was just one of many attention grabbers at the Laguna Seca SVRA Trans Am Speedfest.
