MAY
HIDDEN GARAGES
I recently I shared an article on Facebook about a couple who just opened their private classic car collection to the public. Their goal was to educate the next generation about the classic car hobby and the history behind them.
On the flip side, a 30 acre classic car estate was finally sold after 5 years to a very young YouTuber that specializes in drifting and import mods. It just so happens to be down the street from me (which is out in the wilderness).
Two different styles but the same great enthusiasm for cars and both are hidden gems that most people didn't know existed. We read about auction houses that get the opportunity to sell large collections of unrestored or restored classic, and I wonder how they existed for so long without coming to light.
I always speculate what is in that garage, building, or barn as I'm passing by. Do they have something cool I'd like to see or a great piece of history to tell me? And I'm sure many of you can relate. I only hope the next generation, such as the YouTuber guy, continues to collect, restore, and play with cars as many of us have and continue to do so.
