What we did on December 19 2020 at Keystone Motor Club
First pointing out that we are a strictly voluntary Car club and if you see something that needs to be done, let Bob Vail know with email or a phone call....or just step up and say:
"This is what I want to do...." We also have ANONYMOUS suggestions if you request to
add it to a meeting agenda to test the idea without using anyone's name.
-----------------------------
The December 19, 2020 Keystone Motor Club's last meeting was full of surprises!
We were “Wassailed!” The WOK—Women of Keystone provided hot apple cider drinks to everyone, full of secret ingredients along with little tree cakes, Dutch cookies, and donuts. Yes, we had holiday entertainment with a Christmas Pun to holiday songs, like “Grandma got ran over by a Chrysler.”
We passed out a very nice full color Souvenir Collectors Edition of the "CARolling" Christmas song book to everyone who stepped up for one. Can you imagine how those songs went?
We sang Happy Birthday to Tom Morookian. As promised, everyone got a mystery gift (plus about 10 bags for kids) along with a chance for 12 door prizes. Another nice surprise is that the
winner of the 50/50 got $37!
Roughly counting, we had about 36 cars and 60 people? We had to start a fifth row of cars.....Imagine that? Some people are arriving at 930 for the 10AM car meet. The Christmas Santa Claus from Dillards was won by Dan Holsen and was placed on the radiator of his 2020 Mustang GT 500. Veronica DeGuenther (who brought over her rare, perfect condition Citreon, "Dolly"), Veronica won the large nutcracker-style soldier.

A few Thanks........
Thanks to
Milt Roorda for getting up early and placing our meeting signs. Thanks to
Alan Mevorah for operating the 50-50, and for loaning some tools when another member locked the trunk with the key inside. Good idea to toss the tool box into the car even if YOU won't need it! Thanks to
Gen Rummy for creating the Souvenir Collectors Edition of the "CARolling" Christmas song book, for her singing, and her writing contributions to this meeting reminder.
Pictures from Photographer
Isabella Bradley have been posted in our "Highly Informal Strictly Voluntary" newsletter, and Isabella has volunteered to create a Facebook Page for us. Her pictures are in posts 317-323 in the Keystone Newsletter: ( increased another thousand from November 16
to 17,000+ views ) click:

--------------
Thanks to all donations we collected $37 which brought a total $146 into the KMC treasury.
This is the public acknowledgement at post # 336 in the Keystone newsletter: Bob Vail is voluntarily holding the total amount of $146 for the club.

Should we be adding more advance notices to our meetings as a planning tool?
We won't be holding the New Years day Intercoastal tour on New Years Day. It's looking like we need to start planning earlier for 2022. Originally from Sunset Park, Tarpon Springs (A straight shot to the West from Odessa) and taking some back roads alongside the Intercoastal waterway to Madiera Beach, St Pete.
We will have printed directions for each participant but
we still need a tour leader to step up
as KTM (Keystone Tour Master) for the day....driving at a legal speed and signing a few autographs
-----------------
Social distance with us, drive through and beep your horn, or back in, open your hood
and hang out for a while.

Coming Attractions: For January 16 2021,
KMC is getting enthused for the January 16, 2021 meeting where we are going to ring in the New year with a “Virtual Video Party!” Since January might be a bit chilly, the Women of Keystone are serving hot GI coffee, some Winn Dixie Cookies, and bags of popcorn to enjoy with the videos you get to take home. So far, we have 18 videos to exchange and any “rare” ones will have a silent auction, like Hot Rod Girl which stars Chuck Conner (The Rifleman) from 1959. How about the collector's edition of “Fast and Furious?” You must come to see all the ones that have been donated for our enjoyment. Some videos are real “doozies.” Everyone is invited to participate and have fun. We'll flag you in over the finish line! See you then.
Thanks for coming out. Might be a good idea to arrive at 930AM and get a good parking spot for the 10AM start on January 16 2021.
