parade to honor the graduating high school seniors of Manatee county
Hi Cruisers, I received a request from the Parrish Civic Association to see if we can have some Cruisers join in with them in there parade to honor the graduating high school seniors of Manatee county.
This is there special day and lets help give them a memory that they won’t forget.
I thought that after this short parade we could all cruise over to the Shake Station and get a burger and Coke and just hang out for a while. LETS GIVE THESE GRADUATES SOMETHING TO REMEMBER!
Thanks You Cruiser’s are the best!
Bill
We would like to have the cruisers participate in the upcoming car parade. On Saturday May 16th, the community of Parrish is celebrating our graduating seniors. We are having a reverse parade. The students will be lined up on Ft Hamer rd extension in front of Parrish Community HSn(7505 Ft Hamer Rd, Parrish 34219. Since Parrish Community HS doesn't have a graduating class this year, we are celebrating all Parrish/Duette/Ellenton and graduates zoned for Palmetto HS this year. We have a 75 graduating seniors representing EVERY high school in Manatee county. A graduate from Palmetto HS will be singing the National Anthem.
The cars will stage at 4pm the Parrish United Methodist Church, 12180 US 301N Parrish 34219. From there the step off will be at 4:50 pm led by the Parrish FD, Manatee Search and Rescue and Manatee Sheriffs. The cars will drive by the seniors showing the community's support and once the cars have driven by the graduating seniors, they can leave. The seniors would have been graduating this weekend and we want to show them that we are proud of their accomplishments.
The Point of Contact for the staging of the car parade is Cindy Chin and Mike Williamson. Once you arrive at the Parrish UMC, chaek in with one of them and they will guide you where to go. NO one will be allowed to stop and get our of their vehicle along the parade route. There is a map attached if you have any questions.
Thank you
