SEMA 2019: Forgestar F14 Beadlocks Rock Drag Racing World
By
Dave Pankew November 27, 2019At Power Automedia, we publish many different sites, covering many various forms of motorsport, with each having their preferred brands and platforms for our team to include. Luckily stopping into Weld Racing during SEMA means we can hit them all for new wheel designs and innovation from Weld, ADV.1 for Exotics, Momo for Euro and Imports, as well as
Forgestar for well . . . every car, now with the release of the first concave monoblock beadlock drag wheel in the World, the F14 Beadlock.

Forgestar released the first-ever concave monoblock beadlock drag wheel in the World, the F14 Beadlock.
Forgestar has become a well-established brand as being the affordable alternative for strong, lightweight, flow-formed wheels. The original multi-piece wheel company (iForged) cut its design chops in the Euro and Import world. After expanding with Forgestar, they rolled out many domestic fitments to appear on Ford, Chevy, and Mopar. It had fans before drag racing heavyweight, Weld Racing, bought the company.
Now Forgestar has really upped the ante from being a solid all-around performer to rethinking the approach to high-torque-capable beadlock designs. It should go without explanation, any drag car making high three- and four-digit horsepower needs beadlock wheels to keep those tires in check. As 2019 unfolded, Forgestar was gradually rolling out the drag-race-ready D5 and D5 Beadlock wheels. Later, the D6 and D6 Beadlock were unveiled before the signature design F14 Drag Pack for muscle cars was the big announcement at SEMA Show 2019.

Forgestar decided to put former-pro wrestler Bill Goldberg’s drag Mopar on a customized set of Forgestar F14 Beadlock wheels in the Golden Bronze finish with matte black bolts.
