November 16 2019 meeting........
Arriving at Winn Dixie, W-D had roped off several parking spaces. What great service!
.........that turned out to be for the blood mobile and not us.

---------------------------------
Before anyone else showed up, Vic and I sat in Vic's 39? 40? Lincoln Zephyr during a light rain mist as he told me about his trip up north to deliver a concours car from a museum to the show grounds, and the steps needed in order to figure out how to make it run under it's own power after years of sitting idle with a perfect visual museum restoration, but little done to make it run well.
----------------------------
The rain stopped.
The Keystone Motor Club meeting was at Winn Dixie
17649 Gunn Hwy and Van Dyke Road, Odessa.
Thanks go to Milt Roorda who supplied everyone with Dunkin Doughnuts.
Milt always has an interesting display, and today he did a show-and-tell related to the Model T transmission
and magneto....If I got that right. He also pulled out one of the Model T "wooden" ignition coils for us to look at.
Parking his Model T truck sideways in the "notch" gave us a perfect spot to put up the Keystone Motor Club banner.
As told to me, When founded, the club name was "Keystone MOTOR Club" and it was a requirement that a member own a motor of some kind lawn mower, tractor, auto........anything with a motor. This newsletter was recently edited to correct mistaken other club names to read "Keystone Motor Club". If anyone finds something otherwise, let me know please.
The display attracted Carlos and one other spectator.
Vic passed out some posters, cigars, and other Cigar City Concours memorabilia.

----------------------------
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO DECEMBER 2019 MEETING
1.We are looking into the January 18 2020 meeting to be held tentatively at someone's house.
2.Milt Roorda has suggested that we meet in his AIR CONDITIONED garage during July and August.
I think we should accept his offer.
