DETROIT SHELBY CLUB SETS ‘CRUISE BEFORE THE CRUISE’ ON WOODWARD
ROYAL OAK, Mich. – One event that enthusiasts always look forward to every year is the Woodward Dream Cruise, the largest single-day auto cruise event in the world. If you’re a local, you know how packed Woodward becomes during the big Saturday event. So to get out and have fun ahead of the crowd, several Ford Enthusiast clubs, including
SAAC-MCR, heads out to Woodward Avenue a few days early to enjoy a less-congested version of the cruise.
One very popular spot along the avenue is Pasteiner’s Auto Zone, a hobbyist store with tons of model cars, books, and automotive collectibles. SAAC-MCR club founder Jeff Burgy and Ford marketing retiree and super-enthusiast Bill Cook each attended these pre-cruise meet-ups at Pasteiner’s and shared some of their photos with us below:
