Many of the remaining Tuskegee Airmen returned to Tuskegee, Alabama for the grand opening of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Museum on October 10-12, 2008. Bus loads of Airmen, their families and tourists returned to the old TAAF training field where much of their flying training was conducted.
