this is what I've been looking to do resonator-wise:
Scat Pack Resonator 10 & 5/8ths is 10.625 inches. this is the length.
at 19 inches circumference the radius would be 3.023944 and diameter is 6.04789
to find volume its V equals pii radius squared times height...
so V = π · r2 · h
V= π · 3.02 (squared) ·10.63
V=305.22936 so that's the volume of the scatpack resonators. minus the 2.75 pipe is uses. pretty large compared to what I originally planned to use. a bullet style mufflers as resonators. I was looking at only 66-75 for Volume, which is basically 1/4 of the sound absorbing material internally.
MagnaFlow makes a 4 inch round muffler and i'll stick with 2.5 inch pipe. its 14 inches, so it should house the sound/rasp from the 4 cylinder mode, although it is less than the scat pack resonator volume by far, its just a bit larger than half size
V = π · r2 · h
V = π·2(squared)·14
V = 175.92919
also by having a 5.7, I don't have nearly as much power as the 392 engine, so the sound will be lower, naturally as power makes noise, not vice versa
