I jack up the front of the car on the frame where a brace bolts to it as it is stout as hell at that spot (see pics) andplace the jack stand under the sway bar mount.---------------------Once that stand is in place the rear wheel is just coming off the ground, so it is easy to use the rubber pads on the side just in front of the rear wheel well and finish raising it up,then
put the stands where the suspension arm attaches to the frame.

not placing a floor jack under the rear differential because it's aluminum & may crack.

The rear stands are generic six ton ones from Harbor Freight (15" to 23" range), the front ones I got from Sears in the 1980's (at their 10" to 16" range they are too short to use on the rear). The jack is also a Harbor Freight aluminum "rapid pump racing" style with low profile.
