Felipe Nasr took over for Pipo Derani, and retained the lead in the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac while Jordan Taylor stayed in the No. 10 Cadillac — and kept the team’s close secondThird was Filipe Albuquerque in the No. 5 Cadillac and fourth Alexander Rossi, who replaced Ricky Taylor in the No. 7 Team Penske Acura which was back on the lead lap and making up ground.

With one hour remaining, Nasr led Taylor by 8.082 seconds, with Albuquerque another eight seconds back.Nick Tandy charged from fourth to second on the restart, still chasing the No. 67 Ford GT but putting the No 911 Porsche in contention for GTLM honors for the first time today. John Edwards was third in the No. 24 Team RLL BMW.Mirko Bortolotti held the GTD lead in the No. 11 GRT Grasser Lamborghini, followed by Andy Lally in the No. 44 Magnus Lamborghini and Toni Vilander in the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari. In LMP2, Kyle Masson led by 14 laps in the No. 38 Performance Tech Motorsports ORECA Gibson.
