Would, you or IB be interested in TR building up a following again?
I only ask, because I am still interested in making TR work again. I am actually a very busy person, but I enjoyed the site tremendously and I think it is still a viable site.
I am willing to volunteer my time and bring back a lot of users. I bet I can beat TR's last years numbers by my 2nd month. And, it'll only grow again from there.
What would this take?
1. Me being returned to Full Admin with the ability to adjust the site to benefit the users, while not hurting the business of IB.
2. Me being able to bring back any users & TR staff that I feel would be beneficial to the site.
3. Unfortunately, we would have to figure out what to do with Bob (Senor Honda) as we had to back before IB took over. I was actually friends with Bob and invited him to many events and tried to help him fit in. For some reason, he seems to take on head to head any user that he disagrees with and it was never helpful to the site, the users or the traffic. He is good at adding content, but when the site was running at full speed, his numbers didn't really matter. He has over 56,000 post, but basically because he spamming TR over and over.
People still talk about TR and they miss the old ways. I think we could make it a good site again. It just needs the people that made it great able to make it great again.

As far as figuring out what to do with Bob, ......
Here's a bit of background:
REY had claimed to be the head admin which you are now claiming.
When REY and a few buttheads left TR, to start their own site Tee Cee SSS, they placed links all over the TR site referring TR members to their butthead site,

I hunted down most of those links and eliminated them.
I eliminated the language that TR's national sponsors found objectionable when posted next to their paid advertising.
The people who tried to destroy Tampa Racing, by cussing and pasting their butthead car site links, were also eliminated.

The jerks also tossed in some bad advice: They suggested that Senor Honda stop posting on TR.
I believe it to be bad advice, because when their own butthead car site members quit posting,........... their butthead site died.

It's true. I post content which hundreds of readers come to Tampa Racing to read every night.
Some of my posts have thousands of viewers.
If you consider that as spamming TR, I don't object that you think that.

Here is the challenge for you.
Instead of handing TR over to you in return for the PROMISE of "building up the site", (with an implied elimination of Senor Honda)
how about you build up TR FIRST, and prove yourself worthy of being a member in good standing?

There have been several people who came to TR and said "just get rid of Senor Honda, and everything will be ok".
They said: "Hand TR over to me and everything will go back to the way it was". They promised the same things
that you just did. Helping TR was not their true motivation. They just wanted to start eliminating Tampa Racing content.
I challenged them to outpost me and do a better job....
OR,... OR,.... or to build their own site and show us their qualifications.
Every one of those people only wanted to get their hands on TR, eliminate content which they did not like,
eliminate a person they did not like, and eventually eliminate TR.

They never came back even once to tell me of the success of the site which they said they would create.
