A lot of people have the idea that a Police car is used and abused beyond regular everyday normal use. This is a twofold thing though. Yes they're usually abused, a lot of idle time and depending on the department sometimes a lot of curb hopping and general road jumping. A lot of people don't usually think of the upsides of a Police car necessarily either. Depending on
the department, a Police car is arguably one of the most well taken care of cars you can get. When people see a Police car, people see a car that was used to transport people that did something bad, threw up on the entire back seat, whatever the case may be. People see it as a car that has seen some rough stuff, but people don't see what kind of car it is
under the hood, underneath of what the car is used for. CVPI's are great cars, fun, safe and incredibly reliable. They're cheap to fix, find parts for and service. I'm sure if your local police department started using Ferrari's as Police cars' that people would in return look down on them just the same.
