I worked at an auto auction back in 2010 and 2011. I drove a white (retired WASP?) 2005 P71 with 120k through the barn. It looked in pretty good shape, even the paint looked good! I did not hear any unusual engine or transmission noises. Nevertheless, the high bid was only $500. To this day I do not understand why it did not sell. I always figured that car would have
been worth $500 even if it didn't run! I don't know what the idling hours were on it as I was not familiar with that back then. Does anyone have any idea why that car did not sell at $500? BTW, my sister has a 2007 P71 that she paid more than $500 for. But it's been a good car for her and she loves it! She recently drove it across the country and back.
